Doctor of Chiropractic Bachelor of Science (Anatomy)

I discovered chiropractic at the age of seventeen after I injured my back practicing martial arts.

At university I changed my major from medicine to chiropractic as I felt this was the best path for me. I graduated in 1997 from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.

I moved to Townsville, Australia to be with my wife after we married in 1997. After a few years, we found this practice in Newcastle and are here to stay.

I have been a member of the Chiropractors Association of Australia and served 10 years on the NSW branch executive board. I am also a provider for Veterans Affairs. At Parker College I was honoured with the James W Parker philosophy award.

My hobbies include running, regularly attending the gym and teasing our eighteen year old son.

Doctor of Chiropractic and Diploma of Applied Science-Podiatry

I started my Chiropractic journey at the age of five. My mother had significant success with her Chiropractic experience, and believed that all four of us kids should be in Chiropractic care. Over the years, and after 10 years as a Podiatrist, I realised that this career was for me too!! . I graduated with honours in 1996 at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. I was the recipient of the James W Parker Chiropractic philosophy award. This is very special for me. I have attained certification in post graduate studies in Chiropractic Paediatrics. I am also certified in Activator Methods and Webster’s Technique.

I maintain active memberships of both the Australian Chiropractors’ Association and the International Chiropractors’ Pediatric Association.

My hobbies include patting my dog Moxxi, growing organic vegetables and keeping free range chickens.

So here we are, after 25 years in chiropractic together, and we couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Every day we get to care for people as their bodies work better, and listen to their stories of how their quality of life has improved. We witness pre-schoolers learning to read, and watch their progression to graduation from tertiary institutions and marvel at their futures.

We are committed to continuing our post graduate education to remain current with our Chiropractic research and developments in our interest areas. This is to ensure that we can continue to deliver a high standard of care.
