What is Chiropractic?

The purpose of Chiropractic is to restore and maintain the proper relationship between the spine and the nervous system.

Sometimes the bones of the spine which are designed to protect the spinal nerves and cord, move out of place causing an interference to the nerve’s ability to communicate. The messages travelling through these structures connecting the brain to the body and the body to the brain are distorted or shut down entirely. This is known as a vertebral subluxation.

This stops the body from experiencing good health as the body relies upon good nerve communication to heal and protect the body.

Your Chiropractor skillfully adjusts misaligned vertebrae to remove interference and to allow the body to express its maximum potential.

Chiropractic Care to Maintain Health and Wellness

Chiropractic is founded on the Law of Homeostasis which states that the body will always strive to attain a state of balance within its internal environment.

Chiropractic relies upon the well understood principle that the Nervous system is the “Master System” and as such is in control of every other system in the body.

Chiropractic’s theory is that any interference to the nervous system’s communication will result in diminish the ability of the body to establish and maintain health.

Chiropractic’s hypothesis is that the vertebral subluxation represents that very interference to the nervous system’s communications and if left uncorrected, will result in an intrinsic imbalance in the health and welfare of the individual.
